How To Use

How To Use Elise Skin Products

Getting the most out of your skincare routine is all about applying products in the right order and with the right technique. Follow this simple guide to maximize your results.

The Golden Rule: Thinnest to Thickest

Always apply skincare products from the lightest consistency to the heaviest. This ensures each product absorbs properly and works effectively.

Morning Routine

  1. Cleanser — Start with a gentle cleanser to remove any overnight buildup. Massage onto damp skin in circular motions, then rinse with lukewarm water.
  2. Serum — Apply 2–3 drops of your serum onto clean skin. Gently press (don't rub) into your face and neck using your fingertips. Allow to absorb for 30–60 seconds.
  3. Moisturizer — Apply a pea-sized amount and massage upward in gentle circular motions until fully absorbed.
  4. SPF — Always finish your morning routine with sunscreen. Apply generously and evenly across your face and neck.

Evening Routine

  1. Cleanser — Double cleanse if you wear makeup or SPF. Start with an oil-based cleanser, then follow with your regular cleanser.
  2. Treatment Serum — Nighttime is ideal for active ingredients like retinol or glycolic acid. Apply 2–3 drops and press gently into skin.
  3. Moisturizer — Seal everything in with your moisturizer to support overnight skin repair.

Pro Tips

  • Always perform a patch test before introducing a new product — apply a small amount to your inner wrist or behind your ear and wait 24 hours.
  • If using retinol or glycolic acid, start with 2–3 times per week and gradually increase as your skin builds tolerance.
  • Less is more — a little goes a long way with active serums.
  • Stay consistent — most skincare results are visible after 4–8 weeks of regular use.
  • Always wear SPF during the day when using exfoliating or brightening products.
